SERDANG, 5 October – ‘Sejam Bersama Alumni Industri’ (SEBA-i) is a slot conducted by Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) and is held at UPM Big Hall for Minggu Perkasa Putra (MPP) session 2023/2024. This program is from ARCUPM that acts as a bridge to alumni and alma mater. ARCUPM is also responsible as an intermediary between alumni and UPM.

The slot is the third on the day after the slots from Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre (PKPP) and Centre of Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM).

One Hour With Alumni or known as SEBA is a beneficial program with successful UPM alumni where they share their experiences while studying at UPM to the students and campus residents.

This sharing is to inspire students to which it is fitting to be held during MPP. It is also to motivate students to study harder and become successful UPM alumni to contribute back to UPM in the future. This is aligned with UPM’s slogan “Knowledgeable, Devoted” alumni will come back to serve their alma mater.

Also present as guest of honor is Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Deputy Director of ARCUPM. The moderator for this forum is Mr. Adib Azwar Suratmin, a member of Student Ambassador (CSA) session 2022/2023. Panel lineup consists of Mr. Shaick Saifullah Jenhangir Ali, Director of Urusan Ombak Exclusive; Mr. Mohd Noorhardy Mohd Noorzain, Director of Urusan Saudagar Nenas; and Mr. Mohammad Hafidz Arifin, Director of Urusan Afta Benefigs Sdn Bhd.

After the sharings from the panels, the slot is ended with souvenirs handover as mementos to the panels and photography session with new students session 2023/24.

ARCUPM hopes that the slot held would be able to pitch students’ interest in becoming alumni that will contribute back to their alma mater after they graduate from UPM.
