Serdang, February 17th - MEKAR Series 18: Reunion Class Of AgriSc 94' program in collaboration with the UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM) was held at Balai Minda, Kolej SUltan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah (KOSASS).

22 alumni who graduated with Bachelor of Science Agriculture Class of 1994 were reunited through this program.

MEKAR Series 18 was led by Tuan Haji Mat Amin who is one of the scholarship sponsors for AGriSc. 94’. Tuan Haji Mat Amin is very active in every program that involves alumni, students, and the University. This soiree is also one of his efforts to welcome other Bachelor of Science 1994 batch alumni to join, exchange thoughts and opinions, and learn about current events at their alma university.

MEKAR has significantly become a platform for UPM alumni to reunite and return to their old campus. Previously, a group of alumni from Malayan Agricultural College (KPM) also organized a similar program, and as a result, they were able to raise a sum of money to be donated to student financial assistance. This contribution focuses on students from B40 class families and students with disabilities (OKU).

In addition to alumni collaboration in assisting students, contributions of devices have also been successfully realized under the Heart2Heart (H2H) Program. This is to assist students with laptop donations. It is hoped that more alumni out there will also join in contributing back to the university regardless of the form of contribution.

ARCUPM extends its heartfelt thanks to the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Class of 1994 alumni for their willingness to implement this program together. Foster the spirit of giving to collectively build a knowledgeable and resilient nation in facing future challenges.
