Serdang, February 6th - The UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM) organized Menggamit Seribu Kenangan: Alumni Reunion (MEKAR) Series 16th: UPM Alumni Entrepreneurs program on 6 February 2024 at the Uniputra Golf Club.

The program successfully gathered approximately 20 entrepreneurs among the UPM Alumni community. Among the alumni entrepreneurs present was Mr. Sabrie Salleh (Member of the Board of Directors of Universiti Putra Malaysia).

In addition to strengthening and expanding business networks, alumni took the opportunity to reconnect with long-lost friends. ARCUPM utilized this opportunity to provide a brief presentation on the calendar and activities conducted by ARCUPM with students and alumni.

According to ARCUPM Deputy Director, Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, objectively all activities and programs that have been held throughout the years 2023 and 2024, aiming to bring alumni closer to the university and students together with the University and to assist students facing difficulties or constraints in continuing their studies.

UPM Alumni successfully established more than 20 Alumni Scholarships donated to qualified students. The reunion of entrepreneurs UPM Alumni, may open up to more opportunities for alumni to give back to alma mater and students as well. Alumni are the most powerful backbone among students and provide ideal role models for them.

ARCUPM expresses its sincere appreciation to alumni who attended this program and contributed back to their alma mater jointly bringing the name of UPM to the pinnacle of excellence in higher education, simultaneously on a local and globally.
