Serdang, September 24th - The "Program Menggamit Seribu Kenangan Alumni Reunion (MEKAR) Series 20: Diploma in Science Education Alumni 1984 (DSP84)" has been successfully held.

The organization of this program aimed to rekindle the relationships built during their studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) while reminiscing about the wonderful moments shared during their time in university. The program began with a gathering at the Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS), UPM. The alumni were warmly welcomed before being taken on a tour of the UPM campus to revisit old memories and witness the transformations their alma mater has undergone.

During this occasion, the DSP 84 Alumni Chapter was launched by Prof. Madya Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM). The establishment of this chapter aims to connect alumni and encourage their contributions to the development of the university.

The program continued with a Grand Dinner Ceremony at Hotel Tenera, Bangi. The Grand Dinner for the Diploma in Science Education Alumni 1984 (DSP 84), held at Hotel Tenera, Bangi, on September 24, 2024, marked the success of the MEKAR Series 20: Alumni DSP 84 program. This program strengthened friendships and nurtured beautiful memories for fellow alumni.

The Grand Dinner at Hotel Tenera was the highlight of the event. The alumni not only enjoyed the meal but also shared experiences and reminisced about old times. This friendly session further solidified the bonds of friendship, making the evening a sweet memory that will not be forgotten.

ARCUPM expresses appreciation to the DSP 84 alumni for their trust and strong support in making this program a success. The commitment and spirit of camaraderie shown became a symbol of the program's success. May the relationship between the alumni and their alma mater continue to strengthen, bringing benefits to all parties and serving as an example for future generations of alumni.
