2 November 2021 – Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) has conducted a meetup session between Ombak Scholarship, Cuckoo Scholarship sponsors and its recipient for updates during online learning, academic status, and internship which students will be undergoing soon.

The Director of Alumni Relations Centre UPM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arba’ie Sujud also attended the meeting. On the occasion, he also congratulates the students who are still spirited despite the constraints in conducting their studies online.

“This spirit will determine where you will go in the future. It’s not easy to admit to losing the challenges that lie ahead. Make the best use of opportunities available for you to gain knowledge with your advantages as a scholarship recipient from alumni. Many of your friends out there applied for this scholarship but it belongs to you therefore make this count for your success. I would also like to express my gratitude to all sponsors who have paved the path for these students in achieving their dreams. The scholarship contributions are highly beneficial to the students in dire need,” he said.

Sponsors were given the opportunity to discuss with students about industrial training placement which will be conducted in the fifth semester. In addition, sponsors also took this opportunity to inquire about student’s performance due changes of physical learning to online learning.
