SERDANG, JULY 24 - PALAPES U-Putra Alumni Association (ALPUTRA) friendly ceremony with PALAPES UPM 2022. The Vice-Chancellor of UPM, YH. Dato' Prof. Dr. Roslan Sulaiman, as well as the President of the PALAPES Alumni Association, YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri Mazlan FAQ, both attended the exciting occasion.

The gathering, which had been postponed for a while because to the threat posed by the Covid-19 outbreak, provided the opportunity for PALAPES alumni to get together and present Universiti Putra Malaysia with sizeable donations. In front of PALAPES graduates, students, and UPM staff, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Mazlan presented a replica of the RM30,000 check to YH. Dato' Prof. Dr. Roslan.

This outstanding contribution is crucial to UPM's efforts to entice alumni back to their alma mater. This contribution shows yet again how UPM alumni, regardless of faculty, class, chapter, or club, have collaborated to promote the mission and objectives of the university.

Encik Isnain Ali handed over 2 Generations of Batik Canting Paintings to Tan Sri Datuk Seri Mazlan during the event. YBhg Tan Sri participated in the Buy While Contributing programs and purchased artworks that were on display at the Sultan Abdul Samad Library from 9 July to 9 August.

Through the recently established exhibition and sale of the 2 Generation Batik Canting Painting, the alumni have also made a contribution to the establishment of the 2 Generation Scholarship.
