SERDANG - Alumni Relations Centre received a benchmark visit from the Sultan Abdul Samad Library in order to practice and strengthen EKSA at their respective Responsibility Centres.
The visit started at 10.00 am and ended at 12.00 pm, giving a lot of input and improvement to the EKSA practice at ARCUPM itself. The visit began with a welcome speech by the host led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arba'ie Sujud.
As host, guests from other PTJs are welcome to share ideas in making improvements to EKSA practice thus creating a more structured and organized working environment.
The EKSA practice in UPM is in line with the 694th University Management Committee Meeting on 29 January 2020 has approved the rebranding of the implementation of Amalan Persekitaran Berkualiti 5S UPM to Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) starting in 2021 for the implementation of all PTJs in UPM. Notification on this matter has been made to all PTJs in a letter dated 13 February 2020.
With the motto ‘Persekitaran Kondusif Pencetus Transformasi Kerja Berkualiti’ to all PTJs in UPM, it is recommended to inculcate EKSA culture in their respective PTJ. EKSA assessment will be carried out to ensure that EKSA culture created better teamwork and thus create a conducive and harmonious environment.
