SERDANG - Starting March 19 until March 24, 2022, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) once again celebrates the students who have completed their studies. Regardless of the level of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree and even Diploma, each is waiting for the moment to receive their respective awards.
A total of 6,142 graduates comprising 484 recipients of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), 1,611 Master's Degrees, 3,564 Bachelors and 483 Diplomas received degrees and diplomas at the six-day Convocation Ceremony.
Even though the country is still plagued by the Covid-19 pandemic, graduates and parents were present to celebrate this historic full occasion with adherence to the established standard operating procedures (SOPs) being high and controlled.
Most of the parents who were found expressed their gratitude for the success of their children and congratulated UPM for conducting the event which was quite orderly and safe.
Although only graduates are allowed into the hall, parents and families understand the different situations they face now. For the sake of mutual safety and well-being, each of us needs to sacrifice and celebrate it in a simple yet lively manner.
