SERDANG – Buggy@Alumni greeted the mosque goers by selling drinks at the Universiti Putra Malaysia mosque compound. A variety of refreshing drinks were sold to quench their thirst in the hot weather.
The buggy was contributed by UPM alumni class of 2004, Norashedy Ab Rashid, for the Chapter Student Ambassador (CSA) to cultivate and polish their business skills in preparation to face a great career challenge upon their graduation soon.
The buggy which is known as Buggy@Alumni will be mobilised in programmes organised by Alumni Relations Centre and it has been at service during the 44th and 45th UPM Convocation recently by selling flowers to visitors.
It is hoped that through this approach, UPM students specifically CSA students will be beneficial to them by cultivating their business skills which in turn will be their career options when graduated.
The buggy contribution by UPM alumni has fulfilled UPM Vice Chancellor’s aspirations for engaging almni for university sustainability and to produce students as good citizens.
