Serdang, June 1st - The 2024 Alumni Slow Pitch Homecoming (softball) match was held at the UPM Softball Field. This activity was organized by Year 3 students from the Faculty of Educational Studies, specifically from the Human Resource Development (HRD) program, in collaboration with the UPM Alumni Relations Center. This collaboration was also part of the celebration of Alumni Day on May 21st.

More than 60 alumni, particularly from the Faculty of Educational Studies, participated in this match. This is one of the indicators showing the readiness and enthusiasm of UPM alumni out there to continue maintaining a close relationship with their beloved alma mater. Their presence also demonstrated high spirit and commitment to activities organized by the university.

The match started as early as 8:30 AM and ended around 5:30 PM. As a sign of unwavering support for UPM alumni, the closing ceremony was officiated by the Director of the Alumni Relations Center, Associate Professor Dr. Aqlima Ahmad. Also present at the ceremony was Dr. Suriani Ismail, Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Educational Studies.

The Alumni Relations Center congratulated the students who successfully organized this event and expressed the highest appreciation to all the UPM alumni who attended. It is hoped that this bond of friendship will continue to be tightly knit in the future, further strengthening the relationship between the alumni and the university.
