UPM Alumni Association

 

INTRODUCTION

The Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Association (PAUPM) is officially registered with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) under the Societies Act 1966 on June 29, 1971, formerly known as the Persatuan Bekas Siswa Kolej Pertanian Malaya. The name was changed to the Persatuan Alumni Universiti Pertanian Malaysia on November 23, 1973 following the change of alma mater name to the Universiti Pertanian Malaysia. It was later changed to the Persatuan Alumni Universiti Putra Malaysia in 1998 following the university's name change.

Alumni who graduated in 2004 to date have been indirectly certified as Members of the UPM Alumni Association.

 

OBJECTIVES

• Establish close relationships between members with the primary purpose of enhancing their intellectual, academic and self-esteem.
• Foster good relationships between Alumni and UPM for mutual benefit.
• Assist UPM in achieving its objectives for excellence in education, research, services and upholding internationally.
• With extensive Alumni / Member knowledge contributes to community and national development
• Perform sports, recreation and welfare activities for members.

2. 20% discount on 'Green Fee' at UPM Golf Club.
3. 20% off admission to EduPark UPM.
4. Special payment for UPM library membership fee annually.
5. 10% off study registration fee at Putra Business School (registration through PAUPM only).
6. Discount for selected PAUPM sales products.
7. Eligible to receive financial assistance through the Tabung Alumni Prihatin.
8. Discount for horse riding class fees at Equine Center, UPM.
9. Opportunity to become a member of the Koperasi Alumni UPM Serdang Berhad (KOASER).
10. May be nominated as the Committee of UPM Alumni Association (PAUPM) at the Annual General Meeting every 2 years (Lifetime Members only).
