MALAM TAUTAN NOSTALGIA ALUMNI (MATNA)

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is a public institution of higher learning that consistently upholds national aspirations in building a united, harmonious society founded on mutual respect regardless of race, religion, or cultural background. In line with the mission of the Ministry of National Unity to intensify new efforts toward fostering cohesion and establishing a foundation for integration that strengthens the spirit of goodwill among the people, UPM—through the Alumni Relations Centre—has taken the initiative to organise an arts- and culture-based programme aimed at enhancing unity among its community, particularly its alumni.

In addition, the programme aims to strengthen relationships and networking between alumni and students, while rekindling their sense of attachment to the university as an alma mater that has played a vital role in shaping their character and achievements today. It is hoped that the organisation of this programme will not only raise awareness of the importance of arts and culture in fostering national unity but also contribute positively to the character development and identity formation of the UPM community as a whole.
