Ukhuwah Media Series 1 Alumni Relations Centre UPM with Karangkraf Media Group (GPS Bestari)

23 November 2021 – Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) has conducted Ukhuwah Media Series 1 with Karangkraf Media Group to strengthen the cooperation between ARCUPM and its media partners.

This pioneer programme is a noble effort to cherish the relationship between ARCUPM and its media partners. This ties if viewed at a greater scope, is a win-win situation between institutions and the media.

Institutions with expertise in various fields need to be disseminated for community benefit. The medium used for dissemination is media which has an external capacity and a body that holds the authority of trust from the community.

This programme is seen to bring a phase of close cooperation if both parties maximised their respective roles.

The programme which was physically held with high SOP compliance, was also attended by the Director of Alumni Relations Centre UPM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arba'ie Sujud, ARCUPM Assistant Registrar,Nik Hafzaini Nik Hassan and ARCUPM staff.

The arrival of UPM delegation was warmly welcomed by Chairman Datuk Muhamad Nasir Haji Hamzah and his team.

ARCUPM Director also expressed his gratitude to Karangkraf Media Group especially GPS Bestari and Sinar Harian which have cooperated in the announcement of programmes and activities conducted by ARCUPM.

At the meeting, Karangkraf Media Group also invited UPM alumni to join forces in 'Corruption Busters' which is on a country tour along with a number of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) from all over the country.

“UPMm alumni are now all over the state and it is not impossible for alumni as agents of change to the situation in our country today. Together we fight corruption for the sake of community welfare, and it is our responsibility. UPM as an institution of higher learning and we are in the media and printing division. Through writing, various agendas can be conveyed. The choice of agenda to have a positive impact on society,” he said.
