SERDANG – Alumni Relations Centre Universiti Putra Malaysia (ARCUPM) represented by Aida Fitri Peli, Head of Alumni Binding and Strengthening Section went for a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Pepper Board (LADA) Kuching, Sarawak.
The visit was to strengthen the ties with UPM alumni working at LADA, Kuching in an effort for future collaborations. Furthermore, the visit was also conducted at the government and private agencies to trace UPM alumni for future endeavors toward the university’s sustainability.
To date, 130,000 UPM alumni globally have registered in the Alumni Information System (AIS) administered by ARCUPM. In the Vice-Chancellor Narrative 2023, the seventh aspiration, ‘Uniting Alumni Strength’ along with the ‘Eratkan Kerjasama Sesama Alumni’ slogan, will boost the tie impact between alumni, students and alma mater. In line with that, alumni TRACE to LADA Kuching is appropriate with the Vice-Chancellor’s aspiration and it is hoped to benefit the UPM community.
