Sirih Pulang ke Gagang@Homecoming XI back after two years of unspeakable. The Alumni Relations Centre in collaboration with the UPM Alumni Association (PAUPM) will be conducting this event themed Seluhur Budi, Sekalung Kasih on 1 October 2022 (Saturday), at 8.00 pm at the Great Hall, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Homecoming XI is a traditional UPM program to celebrate and celebrate the return of alumni to alma mater aimed at fostering the spirit of togetherness in 'Sederap Moving Towards Al-Falah'. The meeting of the alumni in this ceremony was intended to fulfill the 11th Vice-Chancellor's Aspiration 2022 which is "Involving Alumni for university Survival" to drive institutional excellence as a Tower of Knowledge.

In addition, the council will also find alumni among alumni to jointly exchange ideas and expertise not only for the alumni' own network of relationships but also more importantly for the university's progress in facing the challenges of bringing the university's direction to a higher level and not only. The programme, which started in 2001, was also included in the calendar of UPM's 50-Year Golden Jubilee Celebration which welcomes participation from all UPM alumni, university partners, corporate bodies, stakeholders and individuals who are interested in contributing and attending the event. This event coincided with the increase in funding for scholarships, philanthropy and financial assistance of students, especially students among B40, asnaf and students with disabilities (OKU).

As a sign of support for this event, the departure of Tuanku Chancellor of UPM, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj to this event was also an injection of enthusiasm to all UPM staff and alumni to come together to celebrate this glorious occasion.
