SERDANG, 20 Oct - Norzack Scholarship and 2 Generasi Scholarship interview session were conducted smoothly at Alumni Relations Centre UPM. The main goal of the establishment of this scholarship was to help lessen the financial burden of underprivileged students, six candidates were invited to attend the interview from B40 and asnaf, which is one of the regulations imposed in the awarding of this scholarship.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arba'ie Sujud, Director of Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) said, the impact of the scholarship can be seen in the number of students who are struggling financially, particularly those from disadvantaged families.
During the interview session, each will choose a competent diploma student who will subsequently be sponsored by the Norzack Scholarship and the 2 Generasi Scholarship, respectively. On behalf of the sponsors, each of them expresses the hope that the successful students would make the greatest use of the financial aid provided, work diligently to succeed, and eventually return to their alma mater as alumni who will give back.
