SHAH ALAM - The reunion of UPM Matriculation Alumni, Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (KIJ) 1998/1999 recalling back their memories. The meeting which was held at the Selangor Menteri Besar's Residence received an encouraging response from KIJ alumni. Through Menggamit Seribu Kenangan Alumni Reunion (MEKAR) Series 11 programme, Alumni Relations Centre UPM brought back KIJ alumni to alma mater.
YAB Menteri Besar of Selangor, Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari took the initiative to hold this reunion in collaboration with Alumni Relations Centre UPM, and this effort found a point of success.
During the reunion, the presence of the alumni showed the togetherness and sense of belonging to the alma mater. They have displayed a high responsibility to the alma mater upon their return and continue to contribute to the benefit of the university and UPM students.
At the reunion, they took the opportunity to jointly hold a tahlil for friends who had departed the world. Various other activities were carried out, among which continued to discuss the ways and efforts that can be done in jointly propelling the beloved alma mater to a higher milestone.
The Alumni Relations Centre as an entity profoundly involved with UPM alumni would like to express its deepest gratitude to all UPM alumni who have been with the university in supporting the university’s vision and mission so that it will continue to excel not only locally but also internationally.
