SERDANG – Megachili Sembang Santai Series 2 continued by inviting Mohammad Arif Ramly as the panel. He is a Bachelor of Agricultural Science student at the Faculty of Agriculture, UPM. Arif is the founder of Arif Agro Industry.
Furthermore, Arif Ramly is also a member of KPT-CEM Incubator Project for Chilli Fertigation Planting Project. Arif shared experiences in farm and farm management. His hope is that the mistakes he made then will not be repeated to the participants of the Megachili Project 2021.
Through Sembang Santai, Arif shared his tips on managing the orchard or farm, which need to have 7M;
These seven tips need to be nurture in every agro-entrepreneur and Megachili Project 2021 participants in order to succeed.
"All I can say is that we apply what we study, experiences and pour it into our plantation area. Knowledge is pure that it is wrong if we applied it wrongly. Besides, I also want to stress on the mind set. As the young generation, we need to have a mind set which target not to remain as ordinary farmers, but with all the knowledge that UPM provides you need to change the mind set to we are the extraordinary agro entrepreneurs," he said.
Megachili Project 2021, will be conducted at their respective residential colleges in Serdang Campus including Sri Rajang College, Bintulu, Sarawak.
A workshop of five series was conducted with alumni expertise and three series of casual sharing session with experienced UPM undergraduate in fertigation system will be conducted as a morale support to the participants.
