SERDANG, March 21-The 45th UPM Convocation Ceremony entered its third day. On the third day of the convocation ceremony, a total of 759 graduates were celebrated in a lively and colorful ceremony.
This means that their journey as UPM alumni has also begun. For Saudara Muhammad Naqib bin Huzil, a Medical Doctor from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences who is an Alumni of class 2021, today is a special day for him. Despite still being crushed by the Covid-19 pandemic, he was grateful to be given the opportunity to feel up to the stage and receive his degree.
"All of the blood, sweat and tears have finally bore fruit today. All I can say is that the graduates must continue to uphold the good name of UPM and starting today we are UPM alumni and it is definitely my dream and also my friends, who want to return to serve UPM no matter in any form.
“Especially myself as the recipient of the alumni scholarship, namely Yayasan Pak Rashid, I feel it is my responsibility to continue to uphold the good name of my sponsor and also UPM. On this occasion, I would also like to thank the Alumni Relations Center and Pak Rashid Foundation for helping me a lot, especially financially throughout my studies.
“I deeply appreciate everything that was granted to me and I can't deny that this scholarship has also opened a wide path for me to work on my ambitions. Today I proved that where there is a will, there is a way. I AM PROUD TO BE A UPM ALUMNI and thank you YPR!” he said ending the conversation.
Alumni Relations Centre wishes Naqib Huzil the best of luck to continue pursuing his dreams and ambitions.
