Serdang, 19 August 2025 - As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Class ’75 Alumni, the delegation continued their campus tour on 19 August 2025, visiting several iconic landmarks that highlighted both nostalgia and the remarkable growth of UPM over the past five decades.

The tour commenced at Menara Putra Warisan Budi, an iconic landmark symbolising the university’s identity, aspirations, and legacy. The tower not only stands as a source of pride but also serves as a reminder of UPM’s evolution from an agricultural institution to a world-class research university. Class ’75 alumni observed with pride the ongoing development of the university while recognising its enduring commitment to knowledge, ethics, and academic culture.

TheClass ’75 alumni then visited the Sultan Abdul Samad Library, a centre of knowledge close to every student’s heart. Many Class ’75 alumni spent countless hours here studying, conducting research, and completing assignments. The library’s serene and well-organised environment, rich in scholarly resources, played a pivotal role in shaping them into scholars, leaders, and accomplished professionals in their respective fields.

Special appreciation was extended to Ms. Nazibah Kamaruddin, Head of Corporate & Staff Training Division, for warmly receiving the alumni and accepting the Class ’75 Alumni Annual Report Compilation presented as a token of remembrance and gratitude.

The campus visit not only rekindled fond memories but also reinforced the enduring bond between Class ’75 and their alma mater, reflecting the spirit of “Berilmu Berbakti” (With Knowledge We Serve) that continues to define the UPM alumni community.
