SERDANG, 25 Aug - To enliven the 65^th Independence Day celebrations, Arts and Cultural Centre has organised Kibar Jalur Gemilang Inter PTJ Competition. Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) took part in the competition to enliven the independence month spirit.

With the theme of ‘3 Zaman’, ARCUPM offered a difference by performing a mini sketch to retell the British and Japanese occupation period and the current era of Keluarga Malaysia.  

Besides that, historical facts on notable fighters against the colonial were exhibited at Read@Uni Laman al-Falah.     

This is one of the efforts to appreciate their fights for the homeland’s independence.    

The competition was evaluated by the Director of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Cultural Centre. ARCUPM foyer was decorated with an independence day theme.

ARCUPM won fourth place, cash price of RM300.00, a trophy and a certificate.
