Serdang, Jan 13th - The UPM Inter-College Alumni Golf Tournament, organized by Tun Dr. Kolej Ismail in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM), was a resounding success. Held at the Uniputra Golf Club, UPM, the event coincided with the homecoming celebration of Tun Dr. Kolej Ismail and Residential College 5. 

More than 20 UPM alumni participated in this tournament, showcasing the strong support and enthusiasm of the university's graduates. The event's slogan, "Ukhuwah Disulam, Silaturrahim Dieratkan," perfectly captures the spirit of camaraderie and relationship-building that the tournament aimed to foster. It brought together alumni from Kolej 3 (now known as Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail - KTDI) and Kolej Kediaman 5, strengthening the bonds between them. 

The tournament began early at 7:00 am and concluded around 3:00 pm. During the event, ARCUPM had the opportunity to update its alumni database, reaching out to those who had not yet registered and refreshing information for those who had. Accurate and updated alumni data is crucial for maintaining connections and facilitating communication about future programs and activities. 

ARCUPM actively encourages alumni involvement in various programs and activities, emphasizing that alumni 'returning' to the university isn't just about reminiscing but also contributing to the university's mission of becoming internationally renowned. The successful collaboration on this golf tournament sets a positive example for how alumni can play an active role in supporting UPM's ongoing endeavors. The tournament's success owes much to the enthusiastic participation of UPM alumni. 

ARCUPM thanks everyone who helped make the event possible and encourages faculties, departments, and colleges to continue their efforts in engaging with alumni and keeping their contact information up to date.
