Kuala Lumpur, October 10 – A total of 37 UPM alumni from the Indonesia Chapter arrived in Malaysia to participate in the Mekar Siri: 21 Alumni UPM Chapter Indonesia 2024 program. The delegation arrived at KLIA 1 and 2 between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM and was warmly greeted by Associate Prof. Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM).

This program exemplifies their dedication to strengthening the ties between alumni and the university. The event served not only as a networking opportunity but also as a platform for discussions on collaboration and contributions aimed at advancing UPM and fostering stronger global alumni connections.

The evening continued with a Dinner and Fellowship gathering at Astana Putra. In attendance were the Director and Deputy Director of the Alumni Relations Centre, the President and Vice President of the Alumni Association, as well as alumni from the Indonesia Chapter. The event featured engaging sessions for idea exchange and strategic planning to further solidify the relationship between alumni and UPM.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of tokens of appreciation between the Alumni Relations Centre and the Indonesia Chapter alumni, symbolizing mutual recognition and a commitment to closer collaboration in the future. This program is expected to serve as a catalyst for more meaningful partnerships between UPM and its alumni in Indonesia.

The UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) extends its heartfelt gratitude for this continued partnership and looks forward to further nurturing this bond for many years to come.
