SERDANG - 28 July 2021, an interview was held with UPM alumni of the 2010 class, Prof. Dr. Abdul Jalil Khalaf, from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Baghdad.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Jalil has obtained a Ph.D. UPM. Previously, he also obtained a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science of the University of Mosul, Iraq. He was involved as an editor and reviewer for many international journals and is a member of the American Society of Mathematics, The Society of Mathematical Biology, and is also a Senior Member of the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology.
As UPM alumni, UPM is very proud of its achievements and expertise in the field of science, technology, and mathematics. Many more stories and expertise will be included in the Coffee Table Book 50 Jewels of UPM.
This Coffee Table Book 50 Jewels of UPM is specially published in conjunction with UPM's 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration (1971-2021) which will be launched at the Homecoming which is scheduled to take place in 2022.
The programme which was originally planned for the end of 2021 had to be postponed after taking into account the status of the Covid-19 epidemic that is still plaguing the country.
