SERDANG, April 1 – 5 Kilometre (KM) cavalry event was held and participated by the Royal Malaysian Police Cavalry Unit, The Malaysian Armed Forces Cavalry Centre (MAFEC) and Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPJ). An event is a collaboration event with Universiti Putra Malaysia. The event started at the Equine Unit, University Agricultural Park, UPM and ended at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM. It was a joint venture event between the UPM Alumni Golden Fit program and the VIP Ride program.
Among the guests of honour present, four from the Royal Malaysian Police, three from the Malaysian Armed Forces Cavalry Centre (MAFEC) and five from Perbadanan Putrajaya. The horse riders were welcomed by Universiti Putra Malaysia as early as 6.00 am.
Exactly 9.00 am the event began to curtain with the final event was a photo session against the backdrop of the Unit Ekuin, Taman Pertanian Universiti, UPM as memorable.
The inaugural event was to celebrate the UPM 50 Years Golden Jubilee Celebration (1971-2020) with society. The glorious celebration is taking place throughout 2021 as the 50th-anniversary UPM establishment (1971-2021).
To obey the guidelines given by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) while celebrating the 50-year Golden Jubilee Celebration, Universiti Putra Malaysia is organising the UPM Golden Fit Alumni programme started on February 5, 2021, and to May 20 2021.
