Serdang, May 28th - The Majlis Gemilang Putra (MGP) 2024 was celebrated grandly at the Dewan Besar, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre, UPM.

MGP is an appreciation and recognition event for the academic and non-academic staff of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) who have excelled in their services, including teaching, research and innovation, professional services, publication of papers, and outstanding consultancy for the university and the nation.

This year, two staff members from the UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM) were awarded the Excellent Service Award and the Setia Putra Award. These awards are evaluated based on the services rendered throughout the assessed year.

It is hoped that these awards will inspire further success in the future and similarly motivate other employees to remain focused and strive in their respective roles. Every task, trust, and responsibility given signifies the university's trust in its staff to uphold the mandates of the nation, race, and religion.

The UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM) extends its highest congratulations to Senior Administrative Assistant Mr. Mohd Sahrizan Mat Yatim and Mr. Zhahir Hussain Hamid, Vehicle Driver, for their awards at this year's MGP.
