Serdang, October 26, 2024 – The Alumni Physical Education Challenge III 2024 was successfully held at Field A, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The event, which began at 7:30 AM, was organized by the Department of Sports Studies, Faculty of Educational Studies UPM, with the aim of strengthening the bonds among Physical Education alumni and creating lasting memories with both current and former lecturers.

The highlight of the event was the Football Championship, which saw four Veteran teams and six Junior teams, representing 16 different alumni batches from the Physical Education program, compete. With 272 participants in total, the competition showcased the strong spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie within the alumni community.

Chaired by Dr. Borhannudin Abdullah, the event was also graced by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the Alumni Relations Center, who extended her support for the department’s efforts to elevate the role of alumni as valuable assets to UPM. The event concluded with an awards ceremony, where the outstanding performers were recognized.

The Alumni Physical Education Challenge III 2024 (APEC III 2024) not only created new memories but also reignited a sense of unity among alumni and the broader university community. It is hoped that this event will contribute to UPM’s vision of being further empowered through its alumni network.
